About Me
I was born and raised in Sevilla, Spain, and my artistic sensibilities are influenced greatly by my Spanish cultural background. I love shapes and colors, and have had a long-term interest for surrealism and magic realism.
I enjoy creating fantastic relationships between tri-dimensional and two-dimensional space and like the way shapes can often interchange and relate as multiple elements that combine to form a variety of images or concepts depending on the viewer’s perspective.
I am inspired greatly by the work of early and mid twentieth century surrealist artists, especially Salvador Dali, Giorgio de Chirico, Max Ernst, René Magritte, Roberto Matta and Frida Kalho.
Early twentieth century Spanish artists influence my sensibilities as well, including works by Antoni Gaudí, Pablo Picasso, and Joan Miró.
